MP48 MAP sensor is an intake manifold absolute pressure sensor used in automobile engine management systems. It is mainly used to measure the absolute pressure in the engine intake manifold. Under different operating conditions, such as idling, acceleration, deceleration, full load, etc., the pressure in the intake manifold will change. The sensor can monitor these pressure changes in real time and convert them into electrical signals to transmit to the engine's electronic control unit (ECU). Based on this signal, the ECU combines the data of other sensors (such as oxygen sensor, temperature sensor, speed sensor, etc.) to accurately calculate the optimal fuel injection amount and ignition timing to ensure that the engine can maintain a good operating state under various operating conditions, achieve efficient combustion and lower exhaust emissions.
