Q4: What power/kilowatts should I purchase? A4: First, you need to check the OBC specifications of the electric vehicle to match the charging station. Then, inspect the power supply of the installation facility to see if it can be installed. However, Khons EV charging stations are compatible with both three-phase and single-phase power, so even if you purchase a three-phase charger with only a single-phase power supply, it can still be installed.
Q5: How long does it take to fully charge a car? A5: Charging time depends on the actual charging power divided by the battery capacity. Taking the BMW i4 eDrive40 as an example, with a battery capacity of 83.9 kWh and a charging power of 11 kW, if you have a three-phase power supply and install an 11 kW charging station, it will charge at a rate of 11 kW per hour. Therefore, the charging time would be 83.9/11 = 7.62 hours. However, charging typically slows down after reaching 90%. If charging with a 7 kW station, it would be 83.9/7 = 12 hours.
