Six key points that will affect the development of the charging pile industry in new energy communities in the future

After ten years of super-fast development, China's charging pile volume has jumped to the first place in the world, but the existing problems, in the eyes of industry experts, are mostly old problems, pending to this day.

The main performance is in:

Regional imbalance: The construction of charging infrastructure is fast in the eastern region and slow in the central and western regions, while the growth of charging demand in some cities in the central and western regions is actually fast and urgent;

Contradiction between quantity and utilization rate: In most areas, there is a contradiction of low number of piles and low utilization rate.

The "four difficulties" have not been solved, and the new difficulties are coming: the old four difficulties such as "difficulty in finding piles, difficulty in access, difficulty in repair, and difficulty in payment" have not been completely solved, and with the large-scale application of charging facilities, new difficulties have emerged in the pressure challenge of urban distribution network planning.

The industry's losses have not changed: except for the profitability of bus charging stations, most public charging stations are difficult to profit.

With the proposal of new infrastructure, coupled with the two meetings being held, it is also proposed to increase the promotion of the "charging pile" industry this year, and in the general environment, investors are judging the positive trend of the charging pile industry.

With the old four dilemmas and the large number of new piles put in, it will be gradually alleviated. However, in order to promote the development of the entire charging pile, experts said that the following 6 key points need to be done:

Development of smart charging infrastructure. Charging facilities should be combined with smart transportation and smart city construction.

Co-ordination element: improve efficiency. Vehicle flow, passenger flow, charging demand, grading, zoning optimization overall planning layout.

Operating subsidy: The new energy "vehicle subsidy" has been changed to "pile subsidy", and the subsidy falls to the operator.

Specification and technical standards: charging pile charging interface, communication protocol, fire safety and other standard specifications.

Technical difficulties: high-power charging, key technologies of intelligent charging, and two-way interaction between vehicles and networks.

Promote the integration of charging loads into unified dispatching management, and participate in power demand response, ancillary services and green electricity trading.
