1) Electric bicycles and low-end electric vehicles are developing rapidly
At present, electric bicycles, electric tricycles and low-end electric vehicles are the mainstay, and there are also some high-end electric buses in trial operation, the former is the result of natural social demand, and the latter is the result of policy support. These electric vehicles are basically to meet the needs of short-distance travel or transportation, and the charging work is basically solved by the users themselves.
The rapid development of electric bicycles reflects the strong will of the majority of people to improve the means of transportation, with the development of the economy, automobiles (including electric vehicles) will inevitably become the preferred means of transportation for the majority of people.
2) The industrialization process of high-end electric vehicles has been launched
Due to the practical needs of electric vehicles in terms of energy conservation and emission reduction and the medium and long-term situation of fossil energy depletion, many automobile factories at home and abroad are actively researching and promoting electric vehicles, and the pressure on China's energy structure and environmental governance is to promote the recent automobile industry restructuring policy. As soon as the policy came out, thousands of horses galloped. At present, BYD, Chery, Zotye, Foton and other more than a dozen electric vehicle factories have produced electric vehicles, and other manufacturers will also focus on the launch of electric vehicle products at the end of 2010 or early 2011. Foreign-funded and joint-venture brands of electric vehicles have also launched new energy batteries with excellent performance and fashionable appearance to seize the Chinese market.
The electric vehicles in the national development plan for the development of the automobile industry basically refer to electric cars and electric buses that can run long distances and reach a speed of more than 80 kilometers per hour. At present, it mostly refers to lithium battery electric vehicles and dual-power vehicles (fuel + hydrogen or lithium battery).
3) The emergence of new energy vehicles has made the construction of electric vehicle charging stations inevitable
The battery pack capacity of the new electric vehicle is large (lithium batteries are commonly used in small cars), and the power required for full charging is large, especially the instantaneous power required for fast charging reaches hundreds of kilowatts per vehicle, which is difficult for non-dedicated power grids to bear. Special cables must be laid to build professional charging stations or to build energy storage fast charging stations.
Without the support of fast charging stations, it is not enough to rely on slow charging (about 10 hours) by parking at night (about 10 hours) to meet the needs of travel and operation.
4) Commercial high-end electric vehicle charging stations have not yet appeared
From 2008 to 2010, with the state funding, there are currently only a few model charging stations for internal (bus-based) use, which is mainly manifested in the construction of electric vehicle charging stations for the Beijing Olympic Games, the Shanghai World Expo and the Guangzhou Asian Games, while the commercial charging stations for providing fast charging for commercial electric vehicles have not yet appeared.
